Sales Manager Media & Events Sales



Responsibilities

One of the oldest, reputed and leadership media and communication company is looking for smart and a go getter sales manager to join its growing team.

Understanding of media business both Print/Digital, leverage of Event management with target audience and engagements to drive business goals of both customer and company. Experience in engaging with strong relationship and proven sales to SME companies would be added advantage.

Ability to sell sponsorship packages for events calendar would be strongly considered

Work location: Dubai/Sharjah based

Designation: Sales Manager

Experience: Min. 08-10 years of experience in related field

Education: MBA Graduate or a Bachelor's degree in technology preferred

Driving Licence: Should have a valid driving license

Profile requirements details:

  • Strong and proven sales ability to meets and/or exceeds Online/Print/Events revenue targets in a leading content communication company.
  • High awareness level of revenue responsibilities and keeps abreast of the business unit goal/targets (monthly, quarterly and annually)
  • Provide pipeline/forecast to senior management
  • Contribute to company’s growth vision and strategies
  • Ensure utilization of complete suite of resources to drive client results and satisfaction
  • Maintains a deep, broad understanding of the market (e.g., customer, prospects, and key trends & competitors) with Technology, Banking & Logistics as focus industries.
  • Ensures strategies and good sales techniques with individual account plans to achieve high level of account penetration meeting short term and long-term goals of the company.
  • Good understanding of digital media, monetization of digital content, social media platform leverage.
  • Ensures client satisfaction and adheres to company policies and procedures.

  • Excellent presentation skills and command in business communication
  • Think strategically and out the box to address customer needs
  • Strong contract Negotiating skills with ability to close withing stipulated timeframe
  • Customer relations management and strong networking ability
  • Experience with lead generation and prospect management
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented.
